Books: Homer's Illiad and the Odyssey are my two favorite classics; they are simply outstanding. Illium, Olympos and the Hyperion series by Dan Simmons - the guy is a genius! Illium and Olympos are great sci-fi stretches on Homer's Illiad; so read the later before the prior... = / ??? ; ) The Hyperion series is an extremely intelligent/cool/gripping/addictive set of novels (4) that are based in the distant future when mankind has branched out into the galaxy and rooted civilization on almost 300 different worlds. Read it and you shouldn't be disappointed. Finally I like the suspense and stories in Angels & Demons and Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.

Movies: I like so many movies, but to name some of my favorites: Boondock Saints, Braveheart, Brotherhood of the Wolf, Count of Monte Cristo, Face Off, Gone in 60 Seconds, Love Actually, Ocean's Eleven series, Original Sin, Pirates of the Caribbean series, Resident Evil series, Scent of a Woman, Shrek series, Sideways, Swordfish, The Usual Suspects, Tomb Raider, Transformers, WALL-E, When Harry Met Sally, X-Men trilogy and the epics like Alexander, Arthur, Gladiator, LOTR and Troy. Oh, and anything with Angelina Jolie is automatically up there near the top of my list because she is truly awesome. Why you might ask? She is beautiful, nice, talented, a caring mother, a goodwill ambassador and she is smart. Check out some interviews with her and you'll agree, plus you'll be intrigued. My favorite TV shows are simply the NFL and Family Guy. Not much the way of TV for me. I prefer movies and video games - the time invested in gaming... damn!

Music: My favorite at this point is between EDM (House Head!) and Jazz (Old and New, Swing, Latin and Blues). My favorite jazz artists are Benny Goodman, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Billie Holiday, Count Basie, Django Reinhardt, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Francisco Aguabella, Frank Sinatra, Jane Monheit, Louis Armstrong, Louis Prima, Poncho Sanchez and The Jazz on the Latin Side Allstars.As far as EDM, my favorite DJs at this point are Chuck Love, Colette, Derrick Carter, Dimitri from Paris, Doc Martin, Donald Glaude, Fred Everything, Kaskade, Mark Farina, Marques Wyatt, Roger Sanchez - OM heavy, I know ;). I also put a lot of Rock right up there near the top as well; stuff like Papa Roach, System of a Down, Linkin Park and Metallica the most. I also listen to Classical and movie scores. Of course Christmas music has it's time as well... pretty much everything except for death metal that you can't make out anything except for screaming. I guess that's what it's like to have a chainsaw taken to your face.

Hobbies: I like mountain biking, wakeboarding, rollerblading and snowskiing. I'm really into movies, music and video games. Music... it's a part of me; I swear I have an internal jukebox. My life is definately lived to a soundtrack. My family is a peak interest - as is wine. Definately family or wine... OR family AND wine! Really though, family rocks! We've been in our house in LB over 2 years and now we have our baby girl Bella already at 14 months; time is flying! Some vices of mine are wine, Craps, nightlife, Victor Ostrovsky's artwork. I love to get together with friends - either at someone's place or for an excursion out on the town and I also love staying in with my wife and the fam. Since Bella joined us, we've been quite busy and happy. It's been so amazing since she was born. She is super cute and charming - yeah, I'm wrapped up already. ; ) I try to keep up with the camping/hiking, catching house DJs and hitting up jazz joints.

I'm an active dad and husband with a lot of ambition in a world with such little time.
