Latest videos are taken at IBRCC and in my own yard and other places I visit. Other videos include the following:A barn owl nest in Washington, with three baby owls, came to a tragic end when another barn owl attacked the nest. The surviving owlet did his best to recover, but died from his injuries. About three months later, one of the nest boxes again has live video, and we can see a new group of almost-grown Barn Owls. Some videos are about birds damaged in oil spills. One of them was shown at the San Francisco Ocean Film Festival this year. I'm also learning to use a video camera. :)You can watch the stories of several nests unfold: Ospreys in Loch Garten, Scotland. Red-tailed Hawks in Tulsa, Oklahoma and in Portland, Oregon. Peregrine Falcons in Columbus, Ohio; Brisbane, Australia; Noord Brabant, Netherlands. Kestrels in the Netherlands. After the Kestrel chicks fledged, a pair of Pigeons (Stock Doves) moved in, evicting the Kestrels. And a few days later, pigeons moved into the empty owl nest box, on the other side of the barn. Unfortunately, the cams turned off before the Pigeon babies grew up and fledged. The earliest videos on this site are a collection of wildlife slide shows and video clips, with music. Enjoy.I am a volunteer at the International Bird Rescue Research Center in California. IBRRC is a member of the Oiled Wildlife Care Network (UC, Davis).
