The focus of this site is old horror and cult films. I will focus on that as far as my personal uploads go as well doing some montages of my own now that I am learning to use the software. The film trailers and clips will be of movies that I consider to some of the most entertaining ever made, while at the same time often lacking high budgets and solid, cohesive production standards. Yet who could deny that ultimately Faster Pussycat, KILL! KILL! is actually a more entertaining film than Titanic. I like mainstream Hollywood films and watch plenty of them, but I just feel drawn to these twisted little gems over and over. I remember seeing Dawn of the Dead at the drive in and local theater when it was first released, along with Taxi Driver that summer, and it was the beginning of life long fascination with alternate cinema. I would like to begin adding some information about each movie I have uploaded in the form of "liner notes" as I have seen some sites do. That can be a big project as my upload collection is getting near 100 now and I have more stuff in the can but I want the site to be a little useful. I dread the thought of clicking on the site one day and having everything removed, as has happened to a couple people here I understand, for some copywrite issues, but until that fateful day I will persevere to upload classic, cheesy cult trailer and clips.I also have a website at http://uranium-cafe.com that I hope you will visit.
