Peter Morrison Fust the driving force behind Ohm And The Temple Of Sound, was born in Budapest, moved to New York then to Toronto with his family, where he started composing original music on the guitar at the age of 13.He had a Near Death experience at the age of 21 due to his Rock N' Roll lifestyle and after his brush with death and a resurrection onto the light, an angel guided him to a piano where he played his own spiritual self-styled classical rock music 4-God.He wrote his first solo composition for piano, entitled "Vibrations From Heaven". Because of his interest in the vibration of light and sound, he started to dabble in modern sound technology, and on the side, he studied the ancient art of Alchemy, and mysticism. Eventually achieving a diploma as a Goldsmith by the time he was 27, he traveled the world with his guitar (The Phoenix) by his side, pursuing a new endeavor, Archeology. He translated all he saw and felt into vibrations of music, while trying to make a living as a jeweler. After traveling to the Pyramids in Central America and the Lost Mayan cities in South America he was invited to work with the Anna Mitchell Hedges foundation to research the true origin of the Crystal Skull, believed to be an ancient relic from Atlantis, found in Lubantun in 1914 by Anna Mitchell Hedges.Peter wrote a book about the Crystal Skull called OHM on earth, which he later turned into a movie script entitled "God's Crystal Skull And The Bodies Of Light", to be revised as "Atlantis Rising", The book is based on Edgar Casey's predictions and Carl Sagan's scientific deductions. With a few of his own philosophical spiritual insights, Peter concluded that we were left here on this planet by extraterrestrials, to progress and develop into a higher species.In the early 80's the world was not ready for this kind of information, and since nobody would take him seriously, he went into seclusion writing music for Films, and producing low budget demos for starving musicians. After recovering from a bout with depression, substance abuse and Rock N' Roll mayhem, he formed a band called Ohm And The Secret Sources with his sister and Neil Young's sister. His first 45rpm record made it on Q107 followed by an Ep album entitled Exit from A Dream that made a minor impact on the Toronto music scene. The album was followed by a surrealistic video directed by the famous Bob Schulz,.The band traveled Western Canada and received minor recognition in the late 80's He was signed to a European Record label by a management company that later embezzled all the money he earned as a musician. Broke and down on his luck, Peter busked around Toronto playing his guitar for 3 years in places like Yorkville, St. Clair Subway station, St. Lawrence Market and Yonge Street, to raise enough money to build his own home studio and survive in the big city, often doing guest appearances in local clubs. In '95 Peter came out with a new band Ohm And The Temple Of Sound, a studio project with a new line up and made a come back with a three part CD called "Trance-Formation" Two songs off the album were bought by Alliance films and Film One, and used in two movies "Deaths Junction" with the late Al Waxman and "Expect No Mercy" a three million dollar box office flop with Billy Blanks and Wolf Lawrson.Although the band appears in the credits at the end of "Expect No Mercy", the song "Expect No Mercy was cut from the movie due to a clash of egos between the film company's soundtrack composer and politics within the film company. However the footage was released to Peter and he was allowed to use it for his video and as a trailer to promote the film. The video was aired on Much Music but the band received little recognition due to music biz politics and a lack of finances. No royalties were ever paid for the songs yet the movie broke even from video sales worldwide.The songs Expect No Mercy and Land Of Illusion received a lot of attention from Q107 and Heather Vale interviewed Peter on TV from Rogers cable for the program called WORD. At the turn of the Millennium Peter came out with yet another CD called "Ohm eYe Godl" followed by 2 more studio projects Temple Ball and The Ohm Show that he produced and engineered. Peter has just released a new CD " Celestial Highways " his best achievement up to date, and has just finished a video for the title song Walking in the Light. Peter's mission is to promote peace on earth, and guide humanity to reconcile with God
