Since I am getting lots of emails, here' ya go.Most of my family members were musician's world wide until they either passed on and / or were pushed aside when this new era of music began to dominate the industry. My father in particular played with Dizzy Gillespie's Band and Miles Davis. My Uncle played for Nat King Coles Wedding. I tell this in Natalie Coles "I've Got Love on my Mind" video on this site. I've been stepping over instruments all of my life. No furniture. Just instruments and rehearsal was always at our house until the creation of the "COLORED" Musicians Club in Buffalo, New York. YES I said COLORED...Back then, that's what it was. At that time I was exposed to many Jazz Greats and had no idea how the music was influencing me. I like real music. Band Music. TALENT. Heartfelt meaningful words.Something that's missing from today's generation. Our children can't be creative because the Art's have been taken away from them as a basic academic requirement.Even though this site feature mostly R&B Soul Classics, I am and have been exposed to, and consider, all sorts of music my favorites. Sometimes it get hard to stay within the parameters of Classic R&B Soul but I try. It's a relaxing natural adventure.Even with my extreme exposure to music and all that goes with it, I have never participated in alcoholic beverages nor did drugs. Therefore I have never been high or drunk. Neither do I shun those who do so respectfully and retain their dignity.I have friends from all walks of life.I am as comfortable in a night club setting as I am in Church. Because I am definitely Saved Sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. Running with JESUS for a long time and I haven't got tired yet. Abundant living is far more than just a financial blessing. It's a lifestyle.I am a living Christian. Hope you enjoy the channel"Mary"Vegas Valley Research
