Jul 5, 2008 - I think if he had put out better songs that he would have sold more and would have been happy to do it. I don't really think he wrote well. good singer and good on the organ but he needed help with the songs. I can't think of one I like.

Aug 9, 2008 - I gew up in So Cal and I got to see Lee 4 times. This was one I always waited for. To see him play that triple keyboard Wurlitzer barefoot (as usual) and see his drummer Frosty was truly incredible. I was able to see him with 3 Dog Night in 1969.

Aug 10, 2008 - I never heard the man's music until recent times. I'm glad you have such fond memories of those times. I recall the times and 3 Dog Nights music but I don't recall Lee's music from those days. I am sitting here and recalling that 3 Dog night also had some good organ sounds in their music. I sometimes think I have too much music to really get into any individual group or solo artist in a big way. I would have no time to listen to my collection.
