The new proposals for Virgin Media to work hand in hand with the BPI is a breach of customers privacy rights. Virgin media has royally screwed customers for the last 18 months! Watch my rant. Along with footage from crash bandicoot and other tit bits of info

Jul 6, 2008 - My Girlfreind and I use Virgin Media Broadband, the service as a whole is great - and the speed is perfect. I dont agree with watching users as it should be a violation of privacy - but I will stick with Virgin because of the quality of service (even though it isnt the cheapest).

electronicxbox Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - whats the point when you can switch to a cheaper better quality service lol

Jul 6, 2008 - FUcking awesome, video.

jimbob150555 Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - We have had a few different Broadband services (Wannadoo, AOL etc..), and to be honest - they have sucked big time, the Broadband never hit the speed it was supposed to. Everytime we rang them they were no help and reminded us of our contract with them, so to finally find Virgins speeds were great and not over-the-top-price (as we have paid before), we are happy to stay with them. Its down to the individual at the end of the day. Its not just about the cheapest, its also performance aswell.

siksensei Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - In the US we had some of the same problems. The thing is, most ISP's make you sign something when you get their service, in that document you signed, you basically sign your privacy away.Sad times we live in.

siksensei Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - Crash Bandicoot was the first PS game I ever played, and it sold the system in my eyes. Mario the same for 64.I miss those days :(

satanicbakedbeanz Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - If you can somehow get on the picnic broadband pilot. Then its probably the best ISP right now. Its not commercially launched so you get the best speeds. Commercially i'm unsure. I'm lucky enough i suppose to work in the telecoms industry to get on the perks and the up and coming trials etc.

satanicbakedbeanz Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - The new crash games aren't that great. Its a shame they didn't keep the same format, utilised the power of the new systems and just went with something crazy. I'm a big crash, spyro, mario, jak & daxter & ratchet & clank fan anyway so i get them all. One of my favorites is actually crash twinsanity, that game rocked, especially the second or third level where your in that gladiator style ball. plus neo cortex has the best voiceover and lines in a game.

Jul 6, 2008 - The whole Viacom/Virgin situation is outrageous.Isn't it just as bad for a company to secretly watch someones supposedly private online activity as it is for somebody to download a few songs/videos from the internet service they pay to use? It's fucking ridiculous.Great video by the way.

gloryglory1999 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - to much bulmers mate lolcrash rules

faz4321 Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - speak on man your so fucking true virgin media suck, we bought their internet service and waited for the modem to arrive in the 2 day wait time. 6 weeks and 17 phone calls later still no modem so we cancelled our contract and switiched to tiscali which is much better.

Jul 16, 2008 - Don't be suckered in my Guerrilla Marketing tactics, 'AtheneWINS' (the perpetual tit-thumb audience suckers) was paid to slur VM by rival broadband companies, unfortunately the myth has spread unchallenged...If you really want to believe such BS then could i interest you in a Genuine ELVIS comb? one user, slightly greasy (king grease) 50 thou to you sir... sell on ebay for double that...what ya say dude?

b6gm6n Says:

Jul 16, 2008 - oh and by the way, the 'source' of this BS rumor has become a YT partner recently... i wonder what they do with all your fear money? got any ideas dude?

b6gm6n Says:

Jul 16, 2008 - no no, not that...look, 'end of the INTERNET 2012' thats the rub, and the idea that 'you pay is, we'll give you faster Internet etc' i don't know if you realize or not... but it has existed for years, i.e 2meg, 8meg, 20meg you pay a higher subscription for a faster service, got it?

b6gm6n Says:

Jul 16, 2008 - also, look at the internet life of MP3, what happened? everyone wanted it, everyone shared it (still do) BUT companies turned up and complained (stealing our profits etc etc etc) so today we have itunes etc etc etc, no biggy, you pays your money you takes ya choice... don't be paranoid

WizzoSchizo Says:

Jul 16, 2008 - You obviously didn't read the report itself.

b6gm6n Says:

Jul 16, 2008 - I scanned it :) yes i agree with your sentiments and you should be worried if all of this was encroaching upon us... consider the viacom scandal recently, they backed down... they cannot bite the hand that feeds them, it's not a conspiracy, the fact of the matter is you have a choice to leave a provider, they (VM) certainly wouldn't shoot themselves in the foot, if you want to share illegal copyright material then fine, don't expect a free ride, it's a black propaganda campaign...be aware!

b6gm6n Says:

Jul 23, 2008 - Thanks, i would also like to strengthen my point using this link, i believe you'll be able to under stand the underhanded actions of some, thus we have the VM slur, don't get me wrong I'm not Virgin Media marketeer or something, i just know how these scams work, how they are played and usually falls under the banner of 'guerrilla marketing' > news(dot)bbc(dot)co(dot)uk/1/hi/technology/7519625(dot)stm

claudis192 Says:

Aug 6, 2008 - First of all Virgin media aren't watching the customers. The BPI are setting up honey traps with illegal downloads on torrents and other file share progs, They keep track of the peoples Ip's & Mac addresses. They can tell doing a lookup that the IP address is a virginmedia IP. They then forward that information onto Virgin who will warn the customers what they are doing is illegal.Virgin give no customers details it would be illegal. Virgin simply say we don't want thiefs using the service..

claudis192 Says:

Aug 6, 2008 - Get your facts right skinny.

AlexFlameSkater Says:

Aug 15, 2008 - I don't even know why Virgin Media even care, it shouldn't be their job to stop illegal downloads. They should stop the people who upload the music and videos, not the people who download it. Why cut off the branches when you can just cut the whole tree down?
