Understanding the Bible:From Genesis to JesusBy Mr. Vic ScaravilliCatholic ApologistThis Bible study traces the blood lineage of Jesus Christ by through the fourteen chronological books: Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, Joshua, Judges, 1 and 2 Samuel, 1 and 2 Kings, Ezra, Nehemiah, 1 Maccabees, Luke and Acts.In the spirit of St. Augustine's famous quote, "The New Testament is concealed in the Old, and the Old Testament is revealed in the new," Vic Scaravilli matches the Old and New Testaments verses, revealing the unity of the entire Bible. Vic shows students how to interpret scripture, Catholic style. In turn, students get involved in impromptu apologetics debates and question and answer sessions.Vic ties all three sources of authority together by throwing in quotes from the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Church Fathers. You will need your Bible to follow along as we look up verses. We are using the NAB version.Vic is studying for a Master's degree in Theology from Franciscan University Steubenville.EXODUS HANDOUTShttp://www.catholicdigitalstudio.com/Exodus1-18.htmhttp://www.catholicdigitalstudio.com/Exodus19-40.htmTo date 25 percent of this course is online. Jul 6, 2008 - Be sure to watch on high quality viewing if available

Jul 6, 2008 - Also, to watch on smaller screen size, push CTRL while pushing the scroller on your mouse. On some computers, this shrinks both the font size and the video viewing area (making the image sharper). On other computers, it only shrinks the font. Not sure why. Anyway, that's an optional way to minimize if the high quality link isn't available.

Jul 8, 2008 - Huh. If the high quality viewing option isn't available by Wednesday, I'm going to RELOAD this using a smaller file size. This was an experiment. The upload was 141MB. Usually, my videos are 58MB. I upgraded my Nero and was experimenting. I think the video is too big for high quality viewing. Might retry aiming for a file size of about 90MB.
