Better examples of black conservatives are Herman Cain and Amy Holmes. They seem to be more "fiscal" conservatives. Conservatives do well with ecconomic matters, but fall on their faces with social matters.

However, there are other welfare recipeints who are going to school or looking for work. You must also realize that all Black Communities are not "hoods". I came from one in south Denver that puts simi valley to shame. Organizations that help empower black communities are often criticized by Black Conservatives for excluding whites. It's a no win.
