An atheist is only a person who rejects the "god" idea presented by theists/deists. Its like saying my non-belief in werewolves is my "belief system"Maybe I just don't believe in fuckin werewolves :-p I cant PROVE they dont exist.

It is an opinion (or belief) that it is a myth or not a myth. Belief isn't just based on the opinion that something exists. The mere fact that someone has interjected the possibility into our minds of the existence of something means we have a choice to make, to believe in it or not.

I would prefer to believe that there was a perfect god creature out there, but I cant choose to believe it. Believe me I tried really really hard. And that someone imposes something on my psyche does not make me responsible to believe. Its their duty to provide evidence to back the claim up, not mine to accept it.

The things you have gone through in your life, the events you have witnessed, etc. have probably helped shape you belief that there is no perfect God. My life has lead me to the opposite conclusion. And I didn't mean to imply you're responsible to believe in anything anyone imposes on your psyche, just that you have a choice at that point.
