Well hello kiddies! Butch R. Cleaver here with a real late 70s treat for you. What's better than a zombie stalking the streets of anytown USA ripping people's faces off and tearing them limb from limb? A zombie doing all the aforementioned PLUS LASER BEAM EYEBALLS!!!! Sound stupid? You bet. It's 1979's "The Dark" a movie that first was directed by Tobe Hooper...then passed it off to some other schmuck....a film that flopped as a horror movie and then got retooled to become a sci-fi horror movie. The one thing it did succeed in doing was being a complete and utter mess.We've been having an exceptionally bad week so far here at the Cleaver homestead...so in an effort to ward off the blues we've pulled out 2 retro-mercials from the 80s featuring garish attire...benetton-age choreography and some rockin' 80s music. Do the fruit-slush-mush and remember, you're free to say "no". Yeah folks...it's been one of THOSE kinda weeks. Keep the faith krypt kiddies! We'll catch you on the flip-side (or at least on the weekend).
