Yes, he most certainly does.Before you ask, people have tested this infinite (trying every possible way to escape), and the Wario would not escape, no matter how much he tried to escape after being released from Sonic's grab.Your only hope of escaping this, if you were to ever get caught in this infinite, is if your opponent screws up the timing to grab you, or messes up the timing on letting you be released.My view on this is that it shouldn't affect the matchup between Sonic and Wario that much. Currently, Wario counters Sonic. With this infinite, I only expect it to change slightly. At most, they'll become neutral. Why, you ask? Because this infinite is so goddamn circumstantial. When are you going to have the chance on grabbing a Wario with Sonic on the edge of a stage? There are very few oppertunities to do this infinite. It's not like Dedede's infinite on Donkey Kong, where you can just infinite chain down throw Donkey Kong until your hearts content (this chain with Dedede also works with Bowser as well).

I was only stating the two characters he can infinite. :p Dedede can also infinite chain down throw himself on the edge of a stage. xD

Nov 18, 2008 - Nah, Yoshi and Wario will always be neutral unless some insane thing appears that makes Yoshi counter Wario indefinitely (and vice-versa).By the way, though very hard to do, Wario has a chain grab on Yoshi. :P
