Yeah, it gets boring waiting around the set all night, so, during a break in shooting, while we extras just sit around a near empty football field, Friday Night Lights actor, Jeremy Sumpter, who plays the "new kid" J.D. McCoy, decides to teach some football techniques to a cheerleader, whose name I never got, but she later proved to be good at football... looks like Matt Saracen might have TWO quarterback competitors this season!! ;o)

I was an extra on the field and he was just passing the time waiting for his scenes.... talking with the other extras (and of course the cheerleaders) and playing with the football near me.... He is a very nice, personable guy and if you watch the show, he seems to be a very good actor.
