Nov 18, 2008 - Not to come across as an ass or anything but RDLs and SLDLs are not the same, although they are similar. With an RDL you keep the bar in contact with your body the whole time and you punch your butt back to perform the motion. With an SLDL the bar is lowered in front of you more away from the body and you are lowering the bar with your back instead of punching your butt back.
