And with the recent addition of HEART, the list of litigious, politically narrow-minded and arrogant musicians continues to grow. If these so called artists were really concerned about this election or this country, they would take the royalties offered to them by the McCain camp and donate the money to their patron saint of Hollywood, Barack Obama. But somehow, the anonymous offering of a donation is not quite good enough. These particular "celebrities" have not, for the most part, even had their names uttered in 20 years for anything other than a rehashing of existing material. And now that Heart has officially refused to let Sarah Palin use the song 'Barracuda' - I think it is only fitting that they are given the attention that they so obviously desire and deserve.I would like to strongly encourage the use of the song Barracuda for future Sarah Palin videos!Heart, Van Halen, Chuck Berry, ABBA, Mike Myers, Frankie Valli, Jackson Browne, and John Cougar Mellancamp. Your 15 minutes of reanimated fame has officially come to you courtesy of the public denunciation of a true American hero. Way to go!

Nov 19, 2008 - Typical Marxist

Cameltoeguy Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Great vid and hits the issue perfectly. The high and mighty "artists" and "film stars" think they are above anyone else and shoot themselves in the foot every time. It never ceases to amaze me that Libs can make such crude and demeaning remarks about something they know absolutely nothing about. Palin has more Common Sense than any Lib will ever have. A nobody that has a good oratory is supposed to trump a former Governor with one of the highst security clearances available.. no way..

gatekeeper96740 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - I love this woman she is like the pioneers that built this country!

miradena Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - You're so right, gatekeeper96740- Governor Palin has demonstrated strength and conviction as well as an obvious talent for maintaining grace under pressure. We are eternally a changing nation. Gone are the days of passiveness. We need leaders who are not willing to negotiate with terrorists. We need leaders who can make solid decisions based on principle and not pandering. She is indeed a pioneer....;)

miradena Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Thanks, dpr -If the Libs dislike her this much, she must be doing something Right!

DIH2750 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - You are correct, Dena, as is your normal position. A pioneer, and a salvation of the REAL Conservative values that I thought were gone and dead forever after last January 29th... Prez. Palin in 2012!

miradena Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - DIH-Real conservative values did seem to get lost for several months while we were busy doing the dance of the Republican shuffle! It's nice to know that Sarah Palin is scaring a lot of catty Lib women who are clumsily dancing the Ally Cat. Meow."President Palin" sounds great to me.... hugs;)

victorjm2003 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - You make a point that only a greedy, immoral republican would make... "please heart, don't stand up for what you believe b/c you will lose money." Did you ever think that it's more important to heart to say what is right than to make money? didn't think so.... you make me sick.

DIH2750 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - "please heart, don't stand up for what you believe b/c you will lose money."Although your vague, ambiguous statement has basis in only vacuous platitude, (thus the obvious reason for its' lacking of any semblance of specificity) you do serve a larger function of why YT comes equipped with a delete button for the moderator. It is in displaying this fact... you're a billboard... that is the only justification for even noticing you exist. Making you "sick" is frosting on the cake. You are sick.

Nov 19, 2008 - I was gone from the US for a long time. When I came back I was astonished how much it had changed and below is why.See these videos.1. Yuri Bezmenov... On subversion of America 2. Nov 19, 2008 - Read Nesta Websters books and William Guy Carrs book Pawns In the Game

thyroperoxidase Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Remember that oh so grand conservative label:'feminazi". You guys used to love that word.

dgferguson Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Sorry Miradena babie, your just not Rock & Roll!

miradena Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - thyroperoxidease - I'm really not sure which stereotype you are seeking to perpetuate with your generalized categorization of "you guys" and "feminazi" - but speaking as a Conservative - and as a Woman - your reference is woefully lost on me. When "you guys" function out of desperation, you all too often chase your own tails and "dog-matically" bark up the wrong tree.

miradena Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Wrong (again), dgf- but I don't mind correcting you- (again). Of course, if you are equating 'Heart' with the likes of Skynard, Hendrix or any other true classic rock, I am guessing that you have also done some closet jamming to Britney Spears. Stick to the issues, "babie"....

Cameltoeguy Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Very well said Frank... and for some reason he can't produce proof that he is a US BORN citizen... why would he not gladly hand that over... Google Phillip Berg...

thingforbing Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Interesting Tidbits. Heart is from Seattle, WA which is a Blue state. (For Republicans who need Plain speak AKA George Bush- Blue State means Democratic) Blue States have a higher population of college educated people than Red states) I'll let you do the "fuzzy math" and see if you can figure out what I'm trying to tell you.

miradena Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - tfb - Fair warning, You should choose your battles and your opponents more wisely. My math skills and my literary skills are far from fuzzy. But here is an "interesting tidbit" for you.Being "college educated" translates loosely into an intellectual stagnation of thought deliberately depleted through blatant Liberal bias, perpetuated by rogue professors such as Dorhn and Ayers. Only a dim wit would rely on statistics to feel superior. Now "see if you can figure out what Im trying to tell you"

JRodB Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Man, it's going to be hilarious when that bitch has to head back to Alaska Nov. 5.Obama 55McCain 45

miradena Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Jrodb- (Funny). I didn't realize that Obama had plans to head to Alaska on Nov. 5th. Well - I suppose it's only fitting that he would want to visit our 59th state, since he has already been to 57 of them......

Karmaceuticals Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Heart DID take the money from the McCain camp and donate it to the Obama campaign - the entire premise of this video is fucking stupid.

miradena Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - karma- Wow, Heart caved in and took my advice. Nice! By the way, you seem confused. The premise of this video is not about campaign finances. It is about the idiocy of pseudo-celebrities, their inflated egos, and the sad desperation exhibited in those of you who defend them. The only thing "F*ing stupid" was the idea that someone like you could understand such a simple premise. I guess I totally overestimated your ability for comprehension. Next video - smaller words and subtitles.Good luck.

moolaroo Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - I think a very bloated Nancy Wilson is just jealous cuz shes let herself go and Sarah Palin has not....Nancy lost her popularity and Sarah Palins is growing. Jealousy is what this is all about...sad when women let gaining a couple hundred pounds allow them to hate other women who haven't. GO SARAH -
