As one of the first law-enforcement officials in the country to STAND UP for the people, rather than stand against them, these actions MUST be supported by every state and county official across the nation. The people WILL stand behind you, and the trickle-up effect is STARTING NOW! It all starts at the LOCAL level, until it becomes a ground-swell, which can no longer be ignored. Let us fight for humanity and justice + against hate and greed. Get active + take a stand! The worst calamities in history happen, because 'good' people silently stand by, hoping for things to 'even' out as if by mere magic. It is time to stand up + be counted! Some of the excerpts came from a NYT article + is being passed on for educational and non-profit purposes.

Nov 19, 2008 - I got tired of all the bad news. More people need to start filling guilty for their actions.

voyzovrezon Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Rachel Maddow talked about Dart on her show tonight! So he's getting some mainstream press.

TexanCyclist Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - I say about time. He should have questioned the policy at the first renter eviction, but no, not until they'd done enough damage to upset his men. How have our police & fellow citizens become so un-empathetic?

sn9696 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - ABOUT time!

sn9696 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - what i say is let these companys fail, then the people will keep there house's,in turn they will have more money to spend,in turn will help econmey, its about 200 billion to let these people keep there house, but are government would spend trillions to prevent people from keeping there house's

Nov 19, 2008 - thanks i read the same report

Evangelander Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - The tradegy of this is that, after the 90-day "grace period," Sheriff Dart will have no option to, by law, kick them out of a foreclosed home. The banksters will, then, own the property and they will see that eviction will be carried out, "by Law."

fragmat Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Thanks Ella, thats 1 small step for law enforcement, 1 giant leap for the enslaved human race. Lets hope its not a fake hope like the moonlandings.Love ya loads xJohn

Nov 19, 2008 - the pump don't work cause the vandals took the handles

55ella2007k Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Evangelander: not necessarily, because with all these backlogs now pending, it might take a long time until he actually 'enforce' these laws. After all, this type of thing is low priority for any local law enforcement agency. Furthermore, even the NEW owners of these rental properties would be acting AGAINST their own self-interest by kicking out tenants who actually PAY the rent. They can't exactly convert these building into condo's, because NOBODY is buying this shit anymore :)

sky2lion Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Bless you sheriff Dart. I hate to even think this, but I have a feeling that if more law officials do this the powers that be will just get contractors to do the dirty work. Can you say Blackwater?

skhan1943 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Evicting paying renters makes no sense at all.Rental properties are bought and sold all the time with no disruption for the tenants - in fact, having a fully rented building is usually a selling point.I confess that I don't understand why the institution doing the foreclosing would want to evict paying tenants and cut off a steady cash flow. What a crazy, crazy, society we live in.

killerbandit Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Welcome to George W. Bush's America folks. If you voted for him you need to do a lot more than just vote the bastards out of office if you want a clear conscience ever again.

55ella2007k Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Well, I hate to think this, too - but that's probably exactly where it's headed in the future. Law-enforcement via 'profit' incentives + lucrative private contracts. Same reason why Cheney/Rumsfeld are in favor of 'privatizing' the military, essentially creating a mercenary force, so that war remains profitable, no matter what.

55ella2007k Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - killerbandit, thanks!!! But you're optimism might be slightly off-course, considering that the vast majority of the American public, their 'conscience', if you will, centers around the shortcomings of the latest contestant on Dancing with the Stars, and more flag waving during next 'news' cycle. It's a perfect feedback loop :( Love your channel, btw, and will stop by, as time allows.
