Alright this video is meant for hermitcrabcare and this is just a short video of my hermit crab's crabitat. He has a sponge, a log, a water dish, a food dish, a tree, gravel, a side tank heater, a bulb heater, nautural shells and me :O.

Nov 19, 2008 - Sure. Salt water, no. I would simply buy aquarium salt from a pet store. Sand, sure. Just make sure you leave it out in the sun, to kill off any mites.

Nov 19, 2008 - You want sand they can bury in that is three times their height, or a mixture of part sand and coconut fiber, etc. I think these should be separate from each other. You want to feed them fresh vegetables and krill; they like the krill a lot, or some raw fish, etc. You want a salt water dish they can climb into to get salt water in their shells; with sea salt. Nov 19, 2008 - Very nice. I would keep everything like it is, but add sand as soon as you can. With the stick, put it up, so he can climb on it. Only do that when you get sand, though. You don't want them falling on gravel.Very very pretty hermit crab. Lovely colors.
