When I walked into my homeroom at East High, you’ll never guess who I saw. Troy. He goes here so I get to see him everyday. I took out my cell phone during homeroom to check to see if it really was him, and I got detention. My homeroom teacher, Ms. Darbus is such a drama queen. There is a girl named Sharpay in my homeroom and Algebra II class, and she is the biggest drama queen EVER. Troy was showing me around and I saw a musical sign up sheet, and she signed her name throughout almost all of the lines. She’s crazy. Troy told me to ignore her, so I decided to.There was this really nice girl named Taylor who offered me a spot on the Scholastic Decathlon. It’s cool that I have two friends at East High already. She had these articles on me from websites about that I was a whiz kid and had a 4.5 GPA. She told me that she found them in her locker. I had no idea how she got them. I asked her about Troy and she said that he was a particular specie that only boys could understand. I know, she’s hilarious. I decided that I’d think about the Scholastic Decathlon and the musical. I don’t care what Sharpay says, I’m going for it. Besides, extracurricular activities are supposed to improve test scores. That’s what research says.I’ll write all about tryouts tomorrow. My mom just called me down for dinner. I have to tell her about Taylor. She’ll be so happy when she finds out I’ve made a friend.
