WE GET AN IDEA of the taste ofpositive emotion for a momentof something so blessed andso filled with a feeling ofbliss that nothing whateverof love-hate emotions associatedwith false conscience acquired fromoutside by imitation along lines ofcause, crusade and agenda which sonegatively infest our publiceducation system can ever becompared with it. It is life-of-itself abnormal publiceducation that implantsand forms our personalitiesfrom outside what is called"feeling fine" which is theusual response to thatmechanical question:"How are you?" as wellas other "positive-emotionalimplants" and so-called "positivethinking" emotions such as "feelingfit" and "on top of the world," self-admiration, etc. and included with allof this is that deranged idea of ideaswhich for so many years was pumped overthe radio by a local public official:"do a random act of kindness and havea better day as a result" which, ofcourse, can only work half of thetime and the real world proof ofthis simple and undeniable factis that such "positive emotions"as can only be learned and imitatedfrom outside are turned in a singlemoment into negative emotion. All realand positive emotions come from Real "I"and their quality is such that they haveno opposites in them. This is to say thatthey are of the Holy Spirit. They are"Yes AND No"--not "Yes OR No." No onecan create, call forth, or make apositive emotion as people interms of life of itselfwould have us believe.I actually discovered it as amomentary but fine and refreshingsensation of a real and positivefeeling of joy and freedom whenI witnessed a rare response bysomeone who was asked bysomeone else "in passing"in the usual mechanicalmanner: "How are you?" bya bureaucrat from one of thelocal foundations and his responsewas immediate, that is, it wasspontaneous as well as direct:"I am here, and I am goingthere" with a sort ofderision not towardsthe bureaucrat but tomechanical behavior itself . . .and that young man seemed tobe glowing with a feeling offreedom as though in a stateof self-realization and withnot the slightest manifestationwhatever of acquired remorse thatusually goes hand-in-hand with afalse conscience implanted fromoutside and then feelings offreedom and joy alsospontaneously arosefrom within myself asa "willing witness" aswell as "testament" atthat self-same momentof bliss. This is theReal Conscience thattells us when we areworking for ordinarylife of itself or forthe sake of what is good, that is, for one's aim togo inwards nearer to whatis real, to Real "I."James Wyly
