Watch in high quality (recommended):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhD-5GZSbFY&fmt=18The car used in both reality and game was the Chevrolet Corvette C6-R.The original video was taken in a pre-qualifying lap from a camera strapped to the hood of the car.The game video features yours truly driving skills, or lack of. All driver assistances are on and transmission is set to manual, keyboard was used (no fancy G25 for me... yet)I made this video to depict how well the original track was portrayed in the game. The first time I watched the original video I was amazed at how I could anticipate every corner... just from in-game experience.GRID is truly an excellent racing game.Hope you enjoy ^^

Nov 18, 2008 - nice video but grid isn't realistic at all. even LFS is better i think.

Nov 18, 2008 - The point of this video wasn't to say that the gameplay was realistic, but how the track is exceptionally well done to the real thing. As far as the gameplay, GRID is not a simulation, obviously, but it isn't an arcade racer either. Codemasters designed the game to be a bit of half and half, to make it easy to pick up and play, harder to master, but to just give it a go and be proud of a podium finish knowing that you did the work required. In that aspect, they did a fantastic job.
