Shinji, Rei, Misato, Asuka. All have endured relentless pain, suffering, and confusion. This is one of my more depressing AMVs, but was not made to release any hurt of mine; I was ironically in a very good mood any time I worked on this vid. Does that make me evil? o_o Pain is an integral aspect of life and is one of the main themes of Evangelion, so I thought it should be examined and expressed. Eventually while working on this I felt that the video was feeling like "oooh, pain, suffereing, blood, stab my heart stabity-stab-stab etc etc..." so on and so forth. hmm. Maybe the emo kids will love it. The rest of us can be glad that our lives probably don't suck as much as these characters'. :-p
