Nov 18, 2008 - People tend to pick up mannerisms and gestures of those that they hang out with. I try not to do this, but everyone does it. And yes, when it is taken too far, it can look desperate. ~Z

Taryn999 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Tranny Crrrrrusty. :PAnd yes, it bothers me a lot when people try to do their make up the way I do, but after I think about it, I realize that it doesn't matter because they are not me and the make up actually looks better on me. I'm not saying that to sound stuck up, but that's just the way it is. :p

Nov 18, 2008 - I was not imitating him using a particular word. If we wanted to get into a semantics discussion, we could go on for hours about how I say a word that someone else said, or how you says words that others have said. I did choose to use the word "custy" to give MJ a laugh. I hope it worked.~Z

Nov 18, 2008 - I started the upload around 1:30 this morning, because the editing process took forever. I hope it's ok too... I've not yet heard from Strophi.~Z

malyenkijprints Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I would not worry about Strophi's imminent doom. The lady will just add another fire ant into your pit of doom for your eventual death. Things just add up ;)

YourGuardian Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Well yeah. Thoughts and ideas are created of a conglomeration of multiple exposures. I just feel its nearly impossible to say that one's appearance is solely created on its own, when we as a general consensus can't even create our own attire, let alone an entire appearance. Regardless of the situation, in this world, things tend to be influenced by numerous thing. Just look at rock. That originated from slavery, then gospel, to jazz, to R&B, and then appeared. One can't exist without the other.

DivaOfDeath666 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Lol...Using a word is far from "copying" dear! =)

TheRedJester86 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - da question was. "do you get frustrated or annoyed when others copycat you?"I do very much take it as AnOffense.& very personal. when people try 2be like me. even when they try to flatter me & say they look up 2me.4da simple fact that I Try very HARD! to Stay consistently different from all other people. "if you look just like me, and do all the things or most of what I do. then how Unique and special am I???"I want to be one of a kind. and NOT manufactured into other people :P

immortalalia Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - That is so true about the "copy", i had that a lot when i was younger... it does really depend! Love the music in the background it fits. ( i love all the guest trannys! i would totally be one but i am fiscally a girl damn

Venux Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Not to be vain, but i feel like i'm the only interesting person in a small town. Which have made alot of other people trying to copy me... I found it really annoying at first, but now i just find it funny and some times i even take it as a compliment. When people actually try to MAKE clothes i buy, which cant be bought in this town... It's just the funniest thing ever, cause they aint exactly good at making them either.

zacattack214 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - People don't tend to copy my style as much as they do my music and movie tastes, witch is awkward because sometimes they will pretend they know a certain band I am talking about, when it reality they have no idea. People used to copy my style when I was more "into" it, but lately I've just been too lazy to care about stylizing myself.

missjestrum Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I believe I hear Katie Jane Garside singing in the background... I love her!! Therefore I love you.

DunZero Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - You are simply amplifying my essential explanation. Adding with your general thoughts as in we all should know how things got born in order to know that we can still do original things... thanks :)I got to say that we are in fact not running out of designers, directors or writers, but actually we are running out of ideas. The only thing that is left to do is combining things. And even that is being tried and presented, sort of running out of options too. I have an idea....

YourGuardian Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I may be amplifying the fact that today's form of creativity is mostly defined by how and what you mix together, but I am also saying that is what we have been limiting ourselves to. There is no reason as to why we should be running out of ideas. There are a bunch of socially bizarre fashion creations that are never seen in any store. Self-identity as a whole is being controlled on a subconscious because we limit our own creativity and conform to similar clothing.

YourGuardian Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - (Cont.) With that understanding, I do not believe that we are restricted to only combining things. Its just that on a popular consensus, genres make money. If designers were actually going to step up and make their own form of fashion, it wouldnt get anywhere, because no one would buy it. And this is sad because we having to, once again, be forced to limit ourselves to social conform. Therefore, the notion of my style is nonexistent when considering nearly everyone in society.

YourGuardian Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - (Cont. last one XD sorry I had a big brain vomit) Also, if you were to take my example as to how rock became, who is to say where the dividing line for Rock and R&B is? Because there was an eventual significant difference between two sounds of music, barriers were created and thus separated music into multiple forms. These similar forms of socially created genre bred more of the same style, but people recreated the same sounds. Not one band has its own, separate, lone genre.

allbingenopurge Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - You are correct! :DI'm such a fan, I taste crayon boxes when her music isn't playing. Therefore it must play constantly, for I simply cannot cope with that waxy flavor.*hugs*~Z
