I had planned to upload this video on the occasion of the 31th anniversary of Callas' death, but I was busy with my exams, so I could make it only now. In this video I selected excerpts of some of her best performances in various roles, one to each year of her regular career since her first recordings in 1949. From 1961 to 1965, I dropped some years for reasons of limited time, as well as because she wasn't very active then. It's great to see the progressive maturation and, then, the unfortunate decay of her voice, but always with the same artistic intelligence and fire.
