Many believed the theory based on stone arrowheads found in Clovis, NM that the Lamanites (Native Americans) had to come from Asia over a ice land bridge. That theory is now proven false, and the Book of Mormon still shines a light to guide people to evidence of the lives of those peoples.

Nov 18, 2008 - we do not believe we are from asia lol...(Valerian Three Irons) "The Bering Strait Theory is more of a political view than a scientific view. Its a part of Western mentality and the Westward expansion in taking Indigenous resources. And a way to justify that is by saying, If youre not really from here, then youre not entitled to (resources), either.

Nov 18, 2008 - In short, the idea of a Clovis-Solutrean link remains rather controversial and does not enjoy wide acceptance. The hypothesis is challenged by large gaps in time between the Clovis and Solutrean eras, a lack of evidence of Solutrean seafaring, lack of specific Solutrean features in Clovis technology, and other issues.Wikipedia pseudo science, I pity the fools who dedicate their lives to this...
