Jul 24, 2008 - The First stage was one of my biggest surprise, and I enjoyed it alot, from your review, I really do want to watcht this, especially with the character development, and I want to see the way Itsuiki is played otu as that though he was comic relief in the first stage, he was one of my favorite characters.....so I do want to see this!

Jul 30, 2008 - Good Review, I'm a huge fan of the initial d anime. I was ok with some of the stuff they from the manga like Takumi driving in Akagi before racing against Evo 3. I always had a problem with the person who detailed Takumi and Natsuki's affair. Now I thought it might possibly slow the story a bit.

Sep 20, 2008 - technically, takumi lost but kyoichi didn't consider their race for real, it was to make a point to him. some changes in the manga were in first stage, they changed the order of some of the races. like in the manga, takumi's races with kenta and impact blue take place after the ryosuke race. and the introduce the emperors and myogi and in the manga, it reveals who squealed about natsuki's relationship with the benz driver.
