SWARC 6.0 - February 2004Red Square: Mutator (Team Mech Monsters)Blue Square: Kill Switch (Newfac Robotics / Team Psygnosis)Boy oh boy do I love Kill Switch, my beetleweight pride and joy. The front of the robot used to have some SWARC and RobotMarketplace.com stickers on it, but in the fight before this one (which I don't have) against Delay That our front end was mangled by the hazards.These bots are BIG and they are mean and fast. Kill Switch has tank treads but because of the small arena it really was our weakness because we were a bit slow with turning. Mutator and I trade hits constantly and when the hazards are activated we say "screw the hazards". Mutator BREAKS the saw blade, and Kill Switch BREAKS the Texas star, effectively rendering the arena hazard-less for the rest of the fight. It was one hell of a fight, but Kill Switch lost by a split decision, Mutator really landed in some good blows towards the end.(Video shot by: Glenn Pipe)
