Jul 22, 2008 - You´re right in all of your points. Consoles are great for Arcade/Race/Beat-em-up games. PCs are more flexible, more powerful in graphics display and so on and better for FPS and RTS. None the less, it always gives me a laugh watching these "OMG-best-snipe-ever-videos" of i.e. Halo 3 :D Some type of games are just not made to be played with a controller, as some games are not ment to be played with a keyboard.

Aug 2, 2008 - who cares what it loks like? all games today look good, but that means little to me. crysis wasnt that good, it was nly average really, and i have a pc that was mid-range when i built it 18 months ago, and it played crysis with all settings on mid-high without a problem. and crysis isnt the only game that consoles struggle with, and that is just gonna get worse as games get bigger/better looking. thats before saying how much better the controls are on pc for shooters and rts

Aug 2, 2008 - yea im gonna get a new pc with 2 8600gts, the only thing good about consoles it that its relatively easy to play the game, just insert the disk and read and select. but on pc u have to defragment the disk after a big installation and tweak the settings and all the other stuff. but some ppl just want to "play the game" not spend a few hours tweaking it and stuff.

Aug 2, 2008 - sli has never been my thing. from what i have seen and heard from looking into it, you are better off just spending money on a better card, than 2 ok cards. unless you buy 2 high-end cards, it doesnt make sense. and that is way more money than im prepared to pay. i spent less than £500 building the system i have, and i havent upgraded in 18 months, and it still runs anything i put on it, including crysis. im gonna get a new card for the next far cry and stalker games tho

Aug 7, 2008 - i like pc for rts i dont like playing fps with a mouse i agree its more accurate but all i do is click on people it gets really boring really quick but most of my favorite franchise are on consoles and its more comfortable playing on consoles on a pc i have my face up to the screen very uncomfortable imo and i get headaches in like 30 minutes i like pc but console is just more suited for me i dont care if people call me a casual gamer for this opinion

The way i see this change is developers who do go multi-plat will give the Consoles more attention sense they seem to be the money makers. PC gaming will not die, it will just not be as focused on as Console gaming. This is purely market speculation. But i'd put money money on it.
