Just a little electrothermal airsoft plinker I threw together, to test the concept out. Required a bit of tweaking, but it does have 4 times more muzzle energy than the gun I tore the barrel out of.

Aug 12, 2008 - It's firing 0.12g BBs, and the chrony numbers are in fps. I managed to fry the SCR somehow (one of the perils of buying stuff on eBay I guess), so the next version (4kJ at 800V) will probably use some sort of home-made air powered mechanical switch (or something...)
