Sep 7, 2008 - The T stands for "Transgender" - as in, people who were born with a different physical gender to the one they feel that they truly are...I think I have the phraseology correct :S I didn't exactly go for a dictionary definition.And it encompasses both pre and post-op transgender individuals.I've heard that the term also includes hermaphrodites and androgens (think that's the right word - people who are androgynous) but I'm not sure so don't quote me on that.
