Jul 20, 2008 - Well good for you, I don't remember asking! Sorry that Bob Barr isn't good enough for you. Enjoy your day off from voting while the rest of us try to prop up the libertarian party for the next election. Barr will be gone in a few months, can't you just stop attacking the liberty candidate....Geez! I am tired of the libertarians always fighting with themselves.....it gets democrats and republicans elected! See ya later negative Nancy!
skyfire1 Says:
Jul 20, 2008 - I would vote for Bob Barr if he was a actual Libertarian. He isn't. He is a lying, no good opportunist. You are as delusional as the Obamanites. What you are doing is projecting what you like about Ron Paul onto Bob Barr. Ron Paul is a great man. You're only fooling yourself. Cut that shit out.
shanklinmike Says:
Jul 20, 2008 - I am trying to get the party attention. If people research libertarian principles that would be great for Dr. Paul's old(truly his) party. Is Barr the best candidate? No, Ron Paul is.....I am just settling for second best. I will always fight for the liberty for campaign. While I'm at it I am going to project the libertarian message as far as possible. I don't do it for Barr or to convince people Barr is Ron Paul. Don't tell ME what I am doing! You don't know me, let's keep it that way!
skyfire1 Says:
Jul 20, 2008 - Ron Paul is never going to get elected. He already fucked up when he said he doesn't think Evolution is a theory and he's already branded as a racist.
shanklinmike Says:
Jul 21, 2008 - He has spread the message of liberty more than anyone I know in my life. He is a good man who will continue to fight for this country. Someday new people like BJ Lawson will come up and fight for liberty with honesty! For now, on with the message of liberty!
wildabeast11235 Says:
Jul 25, 2008 - okay, but the government steals large sums of money from you all the time. and i can still murder someone with the government around, i just have a chance of rotting in prison afterwards.
volumptuous Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Unfortunately, the libertarian party uses the "states rights" issue to ensure that states can discriminate against its citizens in any way they please. Segregation, anti-abortion, forced prayer in schools, and yes some conservative issues like gun ownership, budgets etc, all up for grabs. And that is where the bullshit starts. "States rights" my ass. Barr is a hack (google:clinton/blowjob), and a stain on the Libertarian party. Paul's not that far behind.
politicalfarce Says:
Jul 28, 2008 - Bob Barr is the only true American running for President. You can call yourself Democrat or Republican, but if you support either major party candidates you are not a true conservative.McCain wants to illegaly wiretap YOU, run a governament of perpetual war of agression and only cut taxes for the super-rich while leaving you in the cold.Don't put your fear before your freedom, if you're a true patriot, a God fearing conservative, vote Bobb Barr!
Looptid Says:
Aug 3, 2008 - I love what Bob Barr has to say in this interview. That having been said, does anyone else think it's hilarious that chris wallace keeps using the term "beefs" in regards to Bob Barr's issues with McCain?
pmytsha Says:
Aug 10, 2008 - DOMA is in no way promoting states' rights to govern legal marriage if the act itself ONLY applies to "same sex" constituents. In that respect, DOMA is discriminating against gay people on a federal scale. If Bob Barr truly believes DOMA was created with libertarian intentions, he would acknowledge the mistake of applying it only to homosexual couples instead of ALL consenting adult couples. As a libertarian, I'm at a loss as to how he can identify DOMA with libertarianism.Any explanations?
PeteTheBossRoss Says:
Sep 1, 2008 - I dont see how you can argue with states rights. If you wanna be some pussy pot smoking liberal, with "free" everything, then live in a state with other like minded people. If you think people should work for their paycheck, should have the right to broad gun usage, and other supposedly conservative staples, then likewise live in a state that honors those principles. People arent the same, states arent the same, economies in such states arent the same - the same set of rules cant govern all of them
PeteTheBossRoss Says:
Sep 1, 2008 - Too bad he did get elected, numerous times in texas. The presidency evaded him this year, but that doesn't make him unelectable. The fact is his message resonates with millions of americans, and his campaigns over the last couple decades have proved that, even he couldnt make it all the way in 08.
skyfire1 Says:
Sep 2, 2008 - He will never, ever get erected.
vdubs4life1964 Says:
Sep 17, 2008 - What a sec. You are aginst medical marijuana? Why in the hell do people pretend to care about what other people do to their own bodies. Honestly. What I do in the pricacy of my home is my business! As long as i'm not hurting anyone else! RIGHT?! I know some alcoholics that cant make it to work on time or at all. I've never missed a day because of my habbit. I have two jobs!
jstutz2003 Says:
Sep 18, 2008 - LOL! Bob Barr says they talk one thing then do another. Kind of how he supported the war on drugs, wrote DOMA, fought against the practice of Wicca in the military, he is pro-life, and he voted for the Patriot Act. Now he is running for the Libertarian party which should be against all of that.Bob Barr himself is the biggest flip-flopper of them all. I wouldn't trust him for anything.
2connection Says:
Sep 18, 2008 - Barr is a Brilliant man , theres no question about it ! He would dominate Obama and Mccain in a debateI WANT BOB BARR IN THOSE DEBATES, THIS IS MY COUNTRY TOO AND I DESERVE AS ALL AMERICANS DO TO HEAR THIS MANS MSSG HEAD TO HEAD AGAINST THE 2 PARTIESpeople dont just sit there, you gotta yell and scream , who the hell is anyone to tell you that "no WE will not allow you any choice in debates, you will get on your knees and accept what we give you, we own your minds "FIGHT
jstutz2003 Says:
Sep 19, 2008 - Until he proves he has changed, he won't get my vote. He also needs to quit defending DOMA and pro-life. If states should be able to decide who can get married, shouldn't they also have the right to decide on the slavery? And it's kind of hard for my wife to have self-ownership if the government tells her what she can and cannot do with her own uterus.Bob Barr is NOT A LIBERTARIAN. He is a Republican who SAYS(hasn't proven it through actions) he wants smaller government. Don't be fooled.
2connection Says:
Sep 20, 2008 - so who r u voting for ?
jstutz2003 Says:
Sep 20, 2008 - I'm going with Obama. The only thing that scares me more than McCain's tax plan that we don't have the money for is Sarah Palin and her fascist views. I'm pretty sick of all the flip-flopping and lies that the Republican candidates are pulling.
2connection Says:
Sep 20, 2008 - You are not even worth talking to because you are a total Moron.Barack Obama is a total Lightweight, an empty suit fraud who offers and if elected will change NOTHING. Hes all fluff slick style with NO substance, might as well vote for Mickey Mouse, whats the difference ? zeroAnd Joe Biden is as bad or worse but in a much different way. Here we have a classic Pure Career Partisan Politician whos a Washington Insider for over 20 yrs and hes done NOTHING for the american People.
2connection Says:
Sep 20, 2008 - Bob Barr would Rate John Mccain on a scale of 1 to 10 zero, but hed Rate a Near Socialist Big Govt. Radical Liberal like obama a Negative 4Obama is a Big Govt. radical Liberal Phony
jstutz2003 Says:
Sep 21, 2008 - You call me a moron for putting up a valid argument that you don't seem to have any counterpoints to, yet all that you can come up with for an argument is "he has no experience". I'll take no experience any day of the week over someone with a record for lies, corruption(Palin), plans that will break the bank, and anti-self ownership(one of the two main Libertarian values). Self-ownership is the same value that Bob Barr has proven time and time again that he doesn't understand or care about.
Nemesis000000 Says:
Sep 21, 2008 - He didnt answer the question about his medical marijuana policy
UzbekUkuleleist Says:
Sep 28, 2008 - Nicely said. It bothers me that the Libertarian Party (and the libertarian/small-government movement as a whole) is being absorbed by right-wing social conservatives. Just look at all of the people on YouTube who supported Ron Paul and are now supporting Chuck Baldwin (including Ron Paul himself). If the Libertarian Party truly believed in libertarian principles, it would have nominated Mary Ruwart, who's been a libertarian almost as long as the Libertarian Party has been around.
skyfire1 Says:
Jul 20, 2008 - well he certainly flipflopped on that issue just like every other. If you must know, I'm not voting this year. McCain, Obama, and McBarr can all fuck themselves. Way to go setting up a lousy strawman.
