Aug 16, 2008 - I disagree about his economic views because I honestly beleive in Austian Economics. I beleive that inflation distablizes the economies by always creating booms and ALWAYS creating busts when progress should really happen slowly and evenly.There has to be capital, and if you just take the leftover monetary wealth from the rich, it'll create a boom that'll end with depreciated currecny. With Socialism, calculation is impossible, creating inneficiancy as the Top assumes what buisness goes where.

Aug 22, 2008 - Zinn is a genius and one of the best examples of what a human being should be. I have been reading and studying Zinn since the late 60's and now we are both old and little has been done to improve the lot. Our government is more evil and corrupt than ever and the empire has killed millions of innocent people since then. I thought I hated Nixon but he was an angel compared to the evil rulers we have had since. In the last chapter of life I find there is little or no hope for USA. All are corrupt!
