At approximately 6:00 pm, 4th of July Friday, Dean Grondin and his family were enjoying an Independce Day gathering when a car swerved off of American Legion Boulevard and crashed into their home. The car stopped halway into the house, demolishing a bedroom and part of the living room. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Extensive damage was done to Grondin's house, however. The car's occupants were teenagers and one adult. Word at the scene was that alchohol was not known to be a factor but what other charges if any might be filed were yet to be determined. Persons wishing to help the Gronden family with expenses or supplies should contact sagebrushpatriot via inbox and the info will be passed from there.See full story at Sagebrushpatriot's newsblog:http://elmorecountynewsblog.blogspot.com/
