Apr 29, 2008 - What you really ask for is that interviewers program themselves with the standard set of 'industry' memes before the interview and conduct it based on that programming which would just make the whole interview essentially worthless. These 'simple' and 'banal' questions are just what was needed, whether they were intentionally placed or not. On the other hand you would need someone with a depth of vision and insight greater than the two interviewed - now THAT would be ridiculous.

May 5, 2008 - 3D as general interface~ Just my humble opinion and who cares what I think right? Since the screen is 2D I think it will stay 2D unless we get holographics. Even still, Virtual Reality or 3D simulators in most sense is just a pain in the ass to deal with for practical things like paperwork.Is it going to get to the point where we have like a digital glove to pick up the 3D file and pull the digital pin and turn the pages. 2D and hyperlinks are just easier. DX

Although I'm a Mac user, I like how people such as the moderator make themselves out to be a fool and try to tear down the operating systems that these two brilliant innovators have developed.I suggest that the moderator shut his trap and come up with something better than OS X or Vista.

Aug 17, 2008 - I would say they borrow ideas.Just like an author with a book, they change the sentence into their own words.Microsoft does the same thing, they take ideas from Mac and change into their own thing, besides I'm sure they talk to Apple about it before they do that anyway.People think of Microsoft as thiefs to much.

Aug 17, 2008 - It's not that I don't like Microsoft. It's just...it seems like they don't come out with new ideas. Vista mimics mac a lot. I mean there are a lot of the same features. Maybe they do talk. But I still think Apple is always going to have the technological and developing sides. Owning a mac to me...is like....owning a piece of art. My macbook has never shutdown, never had to restart, never had to get viruses taken off. I just love Mac. I'm not going to hate people for loving Microsoft.
