Jul 27, 2008 - Superbly shot, the wide angle lens makes for a very interesting view.

Jul 27, 2008 - Thanks acw, I previously tried a footplate view with the standard lens, but although it was OK for say looking over the drivers shoulder, or the fireman whilst seated, that was all I could get. So this was just an experiment which I think was successful...I will do it again next chance I get.

Jul 29, 2008 - Yes I'm pleased with the way it worked out, all I need know are some other opportunities to use it.... Could get quite arty with it..

Jul 29, 2008 - That in-cab shot is most impressive. I guess we see just the end of the firing round with a couple of shovels going carefully in the back with the final few down the middle. Be interesting if you could capture a full round. Chris

Jul 30, 2008 - That was virtually the full firing session, on 5407 little and often seems to be the way, don't forget we only had the 2 support coaches on and 76079 was doing a bit at the back as well.
