In memory of Lis' Kristof For those who have asked about charitable donations in her memory, Lis' was very concerned with canine health and believed in the AKC Canine Health Foundation, http://www.akcchf.org/She was also a supporter of and recipient from Take the Lead, http://www.takethelead.org/ Take the Lead provides direct services, support and care for people in the sport of purebred dogs who suffer the devastation of life-threatening and terminal illnesses. On the evening of May 6,2008, Lis' Kristof left this "wonderful earth". Surrounded by her mother, dearest friends, and beloved chinese cresteds; she departed in peace. Thank you to everyone who has commented on this video. She was uplifted by your positive comments and it continues to give solace to those of us who will miss her dearly.Update: May 6, 2008Lis' is having more bad days than good now & grows weaker every day, but everything is being done to make her as comfortable as possible. She's home & her 2 Chinese Cresteds are keeping vigil by her side. Diva, especially, is very protective of her & only leaves her for potty breaks & meals. Lis's mom, dogs & friends are all caring for her.Lis' is at peace and is ready to be done with this part of her journey. Please pray for a quick & peaceful release.Thank you!SherreeUpdate: April 27, 2008With the help of a friend, Lis' was able to make it out to watch a USDAA trial from the car. She continues to live life to the fullest possible, each day, one at a time. Congratulations, to Terry & Wicket (Lis' rescue border collie) for getting their ADCH-Bronze and Lifetime Achievement Award - Bronze this weekend.Update: April 21, 2008Lis' mum arrived safely from New Zealand over the weekend. We are cherishing one day at a time. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. From Lis', her friends and family.Lis' & Diva's ADCH Run. It is with great emotion that I made this video to celebrate a great team and an outstanding competitor. It is for Lis' friends, who I know are going to deseperately miss seeing this team out on the agility field together. I have trained with; traveled with; argued with; cried with; laughed with; and learned from Lis' since the day I started in agility. Now I will go on to begin again with a new pup and hopefully I will take with me all the life lessons I've learned from her. Lis', God Bless you and your naked kids.

Jun 2, 2008 - When I clicked to watch this video I expected a tribute to a well loved dog -not to a well loved breeder/trainer. Far to young to be taken from all who knew & loved her! You are a great & wonderful friend... she definitely lived a life full of intimate moments & deep friendships! A wonderful gift - to show Diva in the end! A favourite breed! But life is to short to do all the wonderful things we dream of, yet long enough to do a few! Blessings Enticia of d n' e!

Jun 6, 2008 - Beautiful!!! I found this video through a Myspace Profile which had linked it in a Blog. I watched it over and over and cried and cried. I don't have to have known Lis to understand. I just have to look at my darling boy. Truly inspiring. Thank you.

Jun 18, 2008 - She did indeed look healthy that day. It was truly a miracle. Lis' by her own admission hadn't run like that in over a year. Hard to believe she left this earth only a few weeks later.

Jun 19, 2008 - Very true! Nice perspective, I hadn't thought of it that way. Thank you. :) I can see how the slow motion is beautiful for those who got to know this lady. But for those that didn't, it is easier to learn about this person they read ALL about in an email forward when they can experience the actual energy/speed as if they had been there. Seeing it in regular speed would have been akin to getting to meet her in person since you can learn a lot about someone just watching them. No offense intended.

Jun 20, 2008 - No offence taken for sure oinkydoodle. Anyone who takes the time to post or comment on a video like this must love dogs. For the record, I did not know Liz, but I still find her spirit amazing.

Jun 27, 2008 - This video was sent to me maybe a month ago and I cried, watched, watched some more and cried even more. I was hoping not to read what I did that she passed. So sorry for the loss.

Jul 5, 2008 - Wicket continues to do well in her country home. Running free and playing agility with Terry. Diva and Kissy just went to their new forever home this past week. They have been keeping Rona (Lisa's mom) coming during her stay. She left for New Zealand on July 2nd and the girls (Diva & Kissy) should be settling in with Angela. Angela if you visit these comments and see this perhaps you can give us an update.

Jul 25, 2008 - Lis you will be so missed. I had not been on the lists or at shows in Dallas. I only looked for info because she was on my mind today. I think I remember her telling me that Diva did not like the site in McKinney so for her to put in such a great run at this site is a testament to their bond. She was always so nice to us offering a cold maltese a place in the warmth at the shows even though there was no room. All our prayers to the family and friends. Mary and Missy from Houston
