Joe and Lexi arrived at her house and they sat outside on her porch. Joe noticed that she was shivering and took off his sweatshirt so she could wear it. He was really worried about her and the last thing on his mind was how they were kind of mad at each other. Lexi: look Joe.. Joe: forget it lexi. It doesnt even matter anymore. It was stupid. I was stupid. Lexi: no if you didnt want to talk about it you wouldnt have gone to the park. Thank god you found me at the right time. Joe: yeah well thats what Im here for.. For you. Just know that ok lex. Im here for you. Lexi: thanks joe.. My superman! *giggling* Joe: yeah well..what can I say* saying flexing his muscles* Lexi: smiling at him* Joe: what? Lexi: nothing. I just dont understand why you would pick a girl like me. I have too many issues in my life. Why would you want to deal with that? Joe: because those "issues" as you call them is what make you, you. And I wouldnt have it any other way. Lexi: joe Im sorry I ignored you when josh came. Its just I hadnt seen him in forever and hes special. He helped keep us all together when my mom passed away and.. Joe: you dont have to explain it to me lex. I understand. I guess I was just a little bit jealous. Lexi: haha of josh? Pfft please theres no need for you to feel that way I promise. Joe: promise? Lexi: promise Joe: lets take you to bed. its late and you have to wake up early tomorrow. Lexi: huh? Joe: we are going to the recording studio and I want you to come Lexi: yeah and why is that? Joe: you remember that song I sang at the cafe? Lexi: yes sir! Joe: well we are recording it tomorrow and I want you to be there. Lexi: oh? And why is that Mr. Jonas? Joe: because I wrote it about someone special. Lexi: who? *nudging him* Joe: oh a beautiful girl that I met at a party. You might know her she has long brown hair. The biggest beautiful brown eyes. A smile that makes you melt and a personality to die for! Lexi: wow she sounds great (laughing) Joe: so lets go get you inside. They walk inside the house and lexi sees josh sleeping on the couch. She grabbed a blanket from the closet and covered him and gives him a kiss on the forehead. For some reason joe didnt feel as jealous as before. He loved how she was so sweet and kind. He grabbed her hand and walked her upstairs. They walked into her room and noticed something in the closet. He reached in and took it out. Lexi: hey! Why are you digging in my closet? Joe (turns around holding a guitar case) Lexi: oh.. Joe: you didnt tell me you played. Lexi: thats because I dont. at least not anymore. Joe: why not? I wanna hear something. Lexi: I rather not joe (eyes beginning to water) Joe: oh come on why not! For me. Joe notices tears coming out of her eyes and goes over to her Joe: whats wrong Lexi: I just dont sing anymore. Not since my mom passed away. Joe: im sorry lex. I didnt- Lexi: its ok I know. You didnt know. Wow I havent pulled that guitar out in about a year. (she reached over and grabbed the case and laid it on the bed. She opened it revealing a beautiful guitar) Joe: wow its beautiful. Lexi: yeah *she said in a low voice* she picked up some papers and she just folded them and threw them in the trash. Joe noticed them but didn?t want to say anything scared that she might get upset. Joe: how about we put this back and get you to bed. Lexi: yeah good idea. Im just gonna go change in the bathroom. Joe: k As she went to go change in the bathroom Joe went and took the papers out of the trash. It was a song lexi had written. as joe read it he got an idea. He heard lexis footsteps and stuffed the papers in his pockets. Lexi: ok im ready. Joe: I think im going to stay here until you fall asleep. Lexi: aw but you dont have to. Joe: BUT I WANT TO (he said flashing a big smile. He ran and jumped into her bed. He tapped the bed next to him) Lexi: excuse me? Joe: oh come on. We arent going to do anything. I just want to tell you a bed time story. Lexi: *giggling* ok (she went and sat next to joe. He wrapped his arm around her and she laid her head on his chest. She could hear his heart beating fast. Joe: ok so there once was this boy. He saw a beautiful girl and was stunned.. Lexi: I think Ive heard this one before. Joe: well then im fresh out of ideas haha I guess I can tell you about tomorrow and what we are going to be doing I mean only us guys ar- (he looked down and noticed lexi was asleep. That was fast he thought. He slowly got off her bed and headed home)
