Aug 5, 2008 - I am told that the methane is collected and transported via an underground pipeline that is connected to other wells in the area. If you Google "methane coalbed Pennsylvania," you should find a site titled "Pennsylvania Geological Society: Coalbed Methane." Click on the link for "more information" for a detailed report.
