Jul 5, 2008 - I think piracy laws in the states are similar in that you can't get arrested for doing it they just send you a bill for about 5000% of the cost of buying the things if they were to somehow find out that you're pirating. They use the money to prosecute more people though so it's completely within the realm of possibility to be busted. This is all hypothetical though, I have never personally downloaded copyrighted content without paying for them on itunes.
