As for water walking Shamans... it's mind over matter, they BELIEVE they can walk on water and therefore CAN. Don't let it bug you. As for water breathing and casting fire underwater, it's the 'cartoon character principle'. When they're above water, they're not really breathing either, so.. Cartoons don't breathe. As for the fire, maybe it's waterproof fire. I've seen waterproof matches, maybe the same thing.
