SWARC 8.0 - August 2004Red Square: Butcher Block (Team Slaughterhouse)Blue Square: Super Turbo Baby Puncher (Newfac Robotics / Team Psygnosis)STBP was a gimmick robot we made just for the fun of it. Upon entering it at SWARC, it set the record for largest wheels on an antweight robot, 4.5 inches in diameter. STBP's weapon is literally a pull chain that we took off of a ceiling fan. It was DEFINITELY not a serious entry but regardless, we wanted to have fun with it. It was nothing more than a silly modded BattleBots toy (much like our opponent).BB is really able to take control of the fight early on because getting the flail weapon swinging on STBP was a little difficult. We land in only one solid whack at 1:57 towards the end of the fight, and STBP loses in a split decision, 5/4.(Video shot by: Glenn Pipe)
