The Damnation of Adam Blessing came from Cleveland and released three albums on United Artists between 1969-1971. Here are three of the best songs from their self-titled debut album, which sold enough copies to earn a place in Billboard's album chart:1) "Cookbook"2) "Le' Voyage"3) "Hold On"As is often the case when making these videos, I had a hard time choosing which songs to feature. In addition to the songs I've included here, the album includes two nice covers, "Morning Dew" and "Last Train to Clarksville," and a stunning original, "Strings and Things," that I strongly considered including. If you're curious, check out the album for yourself. The Damnation's music has been released on CD, but only on expensive bootlegs, and reportedly, those CDs have been mastered from vinyl anyway. So, why not just go right to the source and enjoy the original wax?
