Chapter 23On the way back to Julie's house, Julie explained to Tony the tradition she had with her and her friends Taylor and Becky. They all used to go over to Taylor's house every Friday night to watch the new episodes of Degrassi. They've been doing this since 6th grade, so Julie moving was not going to stop it. They decided that every Friday night, Becky would go over to Taylor's house (because she gets the west coast The-N channel) and Julie would call them. Then, they would all talk on the phone while watching Degrassi. The two finally reached Julie's house. "Bye Tony." Julie said."Bye Julie." Tony smiled and kissed her cheek. He then turned around and walked away. Julie smirked and touched her cheek. *Why did I think about Nick when Tony is such a nice guy?* she thought, still feeling her cheek. *Weird...* Julie jumped out of her thoughts when she remembered why she came home. Degrassi! She ran inside to her room and threw on yellow pajama pants and a light blue cami. When she was just about to leave her room, something caught her eye. It was Nick's sweatshirt. Julie realized she was probably going to be cold with the air conditioner on and her just wearing a cami. She glanced at her clock. It was 7:55! She had no time to get another hoodie or change into a warmer shirt. So, she grabbed Nick's sweatshirt and sprinted down the stairs. So what if she wore it? It didn't mean anything. Its only purpose was to keep her warm. That's why Nick gave it to her, anyway. Right?When Julie got downstairs, she immediately switched on The-N with a minute to spare. She took out her phone to call Taylor and Becky, but Taylor beat her to the punch."Hello?" Julie said into the receiver like she didn't know who was calling."Better late than NEVER!!" Taylor yelled into the phone. "Shut up! It's starting!" Julie heard Becky call from the background."Put me on speaker and let's watch Degrassi, eh?" Julie suggested."Could you be anymore Canadian?" Taylor asked."Well, I AM from Canadia!" Julie shouted. All three girls laughed hard, but stopped straight away when their program started.About halfway through the show, there was a knock at the door. "Mom! Could you get that?" Julie hollered to her mom who was upstairs."You're right next to the door! You get it!" Her mother yelled back."But, I'm busy!""JULIE AMANDA VARSITY! I AM BUSIER! I AM *NOT* WASTING TIME WATCHING MINDLESS TELEVISION! NOW GET THE DOOR!""Ugh! Fine!" Julie complained.She got off the couch and sauntered to the front door. She opened it reluctantly and when she saw who was on her doorstep, she nearly dropped her phone. Nick was the one standing there with a small, thin, wrapped box and a card reading 'I'm Sorry'. &&Sorry I haven't updated and sorry that I was going to delete my account. I kind of just acted without thinking and my friend Stacie brought me to my senses. Then, I got a flood of ideas for this story so there's no way in hell I'm stopping this thing! I'll post it on FF.Net AND YT. And, to prove to all of you that I truly AM sorry, I am telling all of you that I need a character for my story!
