Traveling in a 2nd class or "Chicken Bus" in Guatemala. These are the main transportation system used by native Guatemalans (also used in Nicaragua and Costa Rica) and are used school buses from America and Canada. It is typical to seat 3-4 people per seat, or 6-8 people per row. There are a few things to pay attention to: the bus driver is talking on his cell phone, the door is wide open with a man hanging out of it to try go get more people on the bus and we are going around a corner so fast that I need to hold the seat in front of me to keep from sliding to the other side.
