SWARC 7.0 - May 2004Red Square: Kill Switch II (Newfac Robotics / Team Psygnosis)Blue Square: Killer Beetle (Team Mech Monsters)Killer Beetle is actually able to overpower Kill Switch II, KB has four wheel drive and I believe some form of magnet while KS2 is using tank treads that were severely lacking in traction due to a dirty arena.Keep an eye on Killer Beetle though, as a hit from KS2 actually knocks out the power in the robot and KB is dead in the water for a while. I used this time to try and rack up some ram points and I think I unintentionally knocked whatever it was back into place because KB sprung to life again (watch the blinking red power light, it shuts off when the robot was KO'd). Again, the bell sounded and the fight was over (note the victory spin) but they allowed the fight to continue whenever KB came back alive.PS: Keep an eye on the Texas star hazard, I break it in this fight. It doesn't come off, but watch for the nut to come off of it and bounce around. ;)(Video shot by: Glenn Pipe)
