Championship belts have had design changes for YEARS - I mean, take a look at the belts of years past (tag team, intercontinental, WWE, women's) including those not originally from WWE (united states, cruiserweight, etc). Yes, it's a 'new' ECW title design, but technically it is the same world title from the original ECW with the same history. Personally, I like the new design, but that's my opinion.

WTF man, Tommy Dreamer used to take alot of shots from tons of weapons before getting close to being pinned. But of course, we gotta follow storyline. They should'a brought back the ECW belt that Terry Funk won at ECW PPV Barely Legal. That belt looked better.
