Aug 6, 2008 - Very nice opinion. I am only 14, and obviously have a low budget, so I don't get out much to play different guitars. I know what you mean with the genre of music. As much as fenders could be used for blues, there were punk rock bands that did use them. Kurt Cobain of nirvana played all fenders, but that was his opinoin. Yet, the sound has a very heavy/punk rock sound. I am personally a fan of fenders.

Aug 12, 2008 - Yeah the correct genre of music that nivana plays is grunge. and i can see where your getting at. you can get all kinds of sounds out of both gibsons and fenders, i just decided to talk about what they are commonly used for. and yeah as for budget, im 16 and i have no budget what so ever so, itll last a while.
